OBITUARY Michael Edwin BROOKES September 13, 1944 – October 20, 2018 Michael Edwin Brookes passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2018 in Lake Stevens, WA. He was born September 13th, 1944 in Los Angeles, California to Kathryn & Harold Brookes. The last few months of his life he was surrounded by loving family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Magge Brookes; son, Robert Brookes; daughters Mandy Robinson and Sammy Rowse (Danny); granddaughter Mikyla Robinson; sister Mary Sanchez; brother Eric Brookes; nephews, Bill Wilson and Trevor Wilson and niece, Donna Godfrey. Brookes worked in the film industry for over twenty years and made lifelong friends. He loved to play cards, cribbage and poker being his favorites.

He enjoyed time spent with his granddaughter going to the river and walking to the store to get treats. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
