Michael Eugene Donoho departed this life on September 25, 2018 with his loving family around him. He was the son of Elizabeth Baldwin Vermillion Donoho and the late Murphy O’Neill Donoho. He was born on July 25, 1941.

Mr. Donoho grew up in Cambridge, graduating from Cambridge High School in 1959. He attended Mount Saint Mary’s College, graduating in 1963. Mr. Donoho was an officer in the United States Air Force and served in the Philippines, earning the rank of Captain.

He ran Michael Donoho gallery in Oakland, CA, Maryland Camera in Salisbury and in Cambridge. He then studied accounting at the University of Baltimore and was a Certified Public Accountant in both private practice and for the federal government. Michael was a perpetual learner, loved to cook, and enjoyed traveling, especially to San Francisco.

He is survived by his mother and one brother, Lt. Col. (Ret.

) John Richard Donoho and wife Christina of Cambridge, and a beloved niece and nephews John Michael Donoho of Glen Burnie, Captain Rachel E. Donoho of Biloxi, Mississippi, and Philip M. Donoho of Cheyenne, Wyoming. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Refuge of Sinners on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11 AM with Father Bruce Byrolly officiating. A visitation will be held at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 5-7 PM.

Interment will follow the funeral at Old Trinity Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Friends of the Dorchester County Public Library, P.O. Box 1134 Cambridge MD 21613.
