Obituary for Michael J. Freeman Print Michael J. Freeman, 48, of Hazlet, passed away on Tuesday, January 29th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born in Mobile, Alabama, lived in Middletown, prior to moving to Hazlet 20 years ago. Michael was a sales rep.

for IEI in Airport Plaza, Hazlet. He loved hard rock, hockey, and was an avid Atlanta Falcons and New York Yankees fan; He enjoyed hanging out with friends at Airport Liquors. The most important thing in his life was spending time with his nephews.

He is survived by his mother Kathy Lynn Thomson of Hazlet; his father and step-mother; Matthew and Midge Thomson of Keansburg; his sister and brother in-law; Courtney and Anthony Martino of Florida; two nephews; Joseph and Ryan and many other family and extended family. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, February 16th from 6-9pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg.
