Funeral for Michael J Looney, 69, of Decatur will be Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home. Mr. Looney, who died Friday, July 13, 2018, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born January 20, 1949, to William Looney and Lou Looney. He served in the US Army and was a retired Electrician.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Steve Looney Survivors include: Wife – Barbara Looney Son – Mike Looney Daughter – Kelly (Jonathan) Clemons Daughter – Kim Simmons Daughter – Kelly Johnson Daughter – Stacey (Ray) Milligan Son – John (Tammy) Johnson Brother – Pat Looney Brother – Wally (Kay) Looney Sister – Peggy (Ricky) James , 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
