Michael’s Obituary PIFHER, Michael James – Of Burton, age 65, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Funeral service will be held 3pm Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating. Cremation will take place following the service.

Contributions may be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Visitation 12 Noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Michael was born in Flint on December 10, 1953, the son of Donald and Marlene (Hatt) Pifher.

He worked construction at different businesses. Surviving are daughter, Jennifer (Toby) Ashmun; 3 grandchildren; mother, Marlene Hatt-Pifher; sister, Deborah (Glen) McCallum; brothers, Terry, Kenneth and Jeffrey (Lynne); several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dawn and dad, Donald.
