Michael was born on November 21, 1967 in Downey, California and was a resident of Alvin for over 20 years. He was a entrepreneur and Catholic by faith.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Denise Ferguson and Robert Wightman. Michael is survived by the love of his life, Brenda Wightman, son, Michael Wightman Jr. and wife Brittnie, sister, Tracie Tribendis and husband Eddie, 3 grandchildren, Michael Wightman III, Skyleigh Wightman, Makinley Wightman, nephews, Trevor Nelon, Christopher Nelon, and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin.
