Obituary for Michael Lee Fint Frankfort – Michael Lee Fint, age 58, passed away at home on Friday, October 5, 2018. Born August 30, 1960, in Frankfort to the late Chester O. and Ollie Frances Jackson Fint, he was a 1978 graduate of Franklin County High School and retired from the Kentucky State Police in 2008 with 22 years of service as a dispatcher. He was a lifelong dedicated member of Bethel Baptist Church, having served as a deacon, trustee, and treasurer, and was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Sherman Fint; aunts, Jessie Lee Jackson, Rosetta F. O’Nan, and Blanche Shy; and cousins, Dennis O’Nan and Joseph Pulliam. He is survived by several cousins, Patricia Thurman (Gary), Susi Goddard, Sandra Wilcox, Sherry Graham (Carey), Darrell Pulliam (Jan), all of Frankfort; Karen Pulliam, Nicholasville; Rhonda Bayes, Lawrenceburg, and, Joe O’Nan (Connie), Lexington. He will be especially missed by special friends, Leslie Anderson and Warren and Andi McGaughey.
Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Sargent officiating, assisted by Rev. Mike Young.
Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Serving as pallbearers will be Warren McGaughey, Andi McGaughey, Leslie Anderson, Wesley Clevinger, Jerry Clevinger, and Henry Carr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Smith, Kevin Parrish, Jeff Smith, Joe O’Nan, Gary Thurman, John Jennings, Carey Graham, Kyle Wilcox, Sean Goddard, Rhonda Bayes, Darrell Pulliam, Justin Lines, and Gary Mitchell. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Bethel Baptist Church in his memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
