OBITUARY Michael Lynn Breaux January 12, 1954 – October 9, 2018 Michael Lynn Breaux, 64, was called home on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in a local hospital. Michael was a lifelong resident of Vinton. As a mechanic, he worked alongside his brother, Ernie, for 30 years with Breaux’s Wrecker Service.

He enjoyed sitting on his porch listening to Cajun music and visiting with friends and family. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Christopher Michael Breaux and his wife Daphne, Carey Lynn Breaux and his wife Christy Marie, Nicholas Breaux and wife Jessica and Tiffanie Ann Cheramie and her husband, Travis all of Georgia; brother, Ernie Breaux and wife Deena of Vinton; sister Carla Bolton and husband William of Mississippi; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews including his Godchildren, Michelle Berry and Ernie “Boogie” Breaux; and his faithful companion “Lil Girl”. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Ella Mae Breaux; and sister, Rhonda Brown.

Visitation will be held 4 – 8pm with a Rosary at 6pm in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Words of comfort and memories may be shared with family at www. hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
