Obituary for Michael Ray “Mike” Cody Michael Ray “Mike” Cody, was born on January 28, 1963 to Wesley V. Jackson Sr. and Nora Evelyn Wilson Cody in Burnet, Texas. He was a graduate of Henderson High School in 1982. Mike passed away on September 27, 2018 at the age of 55.
His life was filled with things he loved: His children Michael and Michaela, riding his motorcycle with his many friends, spending time at the coast fishing and camping, practicing Karate, and spending quality time with his family. He recently retired from CPS Energy after 29 years of service. Mike is survived by his longtime companion, Jackie Philson; his children: Michaela and Michael Cody and their Mother, Dawn McDowell and her son Logan whom he helped raise; sister: Debbie Harris; brother, Wesley Jackson; Nephew, Daniel (Danny) Rivas; Nieces, Stephanie Eiland and Kristin Tips; and a host of extended family and friends.
