A homegoing celebration for Mr. Michael Ray Solomon of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 will be held Saturday, January 19th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. , Rev. Timothy Lancaster, officiating.

Michael R. Solomon was born August 4, 1956 in Gladwater, Texas to Aldein and Barbara Solomon. Michael grew up in Tampa, Florida and attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. He enjoyed watching football and playing dominos.

He was preceded in death by his father, Aldein Solomon; grandfather, Gus Bryant; brothers, Donald Webb, Andre Earnest, Jr. and Kathartis Curry and nephew, Rashaan Curry. He leaves to cherish his fond memories with the love of his life, Charlene Johnson; loving mother, Barbara Curry; 3 sisters, Gail Solomon, Robin Solomon and Gail Culver (Dorothy Lamar); 3 brothers, Brian Curry, Kevin Solomon (Tymie) and Eric Curry (Kenya); nephews, Kevin Solomon, Jr., Jaurice Moore, Fabbiani Collier, Eric, Erron Kanin and Shawn Curry, Donald III, Jason and Breandon Webb; nieces, Tameka Dennis, Kierra, Brittni, Ashley and Kayonna Solomon, Chasity and Shala Webb, Kendi and Sherrie Curry; a host of cousins and other relatives; close friends, Eric Youngblood and Tyrone Wilson. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 17th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
