Michael Richard Rose, age 26, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Saturday afternoon, March 9, 2019 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Burial will take place in Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio.

Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Michael Rose Memorial Fund, c/o CSB, Millersburg, Ohio 44654. Michael was born August 23, 1992 in Wooster, Ohio and was the son of Jeffrey A. Rose and Sherry L. (Bunt) Ross. Michael was currently employed with Holmes Rental in Millersburg and formerly worked at M & S Concrete.

He was an avid outdoorsman. Michael loved racing and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, football, and riding his motorcycle and 4-wheeler.

Above anything else, he was a devoted father to his four-year-old son, Jayce. He is survived by his fiancee, Kendra Cornelius and their son, Jayce Rose; mother, Sherry (Donnie) Ross of Holmesville, Ohio; father, Jeff Rose of Millersburg, Ohio; siblings, Tabitha Rose (Jason Lucas) of Holmesville, Ohio, Teri (Paul) Angle of Big Prairie, Ohio and Tyler (Jessica) Rose of Holmesville, Ohio; a stepsister, Dawn (Joseph) Ojeda of California; maternal grandmother, Mary Kelley; paternal grandfather, Richard Rose; step-grandmother, Elsie Ross; nieces and nephews, Jacob, Becca, Colin, Addison, Darion, Gunner, Evan, Brayden, Edward, Daniel, Zoey, Payton, Ali, Zayden, Braxton and Bentley; numerous aunts, uncle’s, cousins and close friends; and his fiance’s parents, Vicky Powers (Randy Reeves) and John Cornelius. He was preceded in death by a sister, Trista Marie Rose; maternal grandparents, Jim and Mary Bunt; paternal grandmother, Maggie Rose; step grandpa, Virgil Kelley; and four uncle’s, Michael Rose, Rob Rose, Larry White and Buck White.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the racing community and to all of Michael’s friends for the outpouring of love and support that has been given to them during this difficult time. We are forever grateful.
