Michael Allen Roesch was born on December 11, 1995 to Michael and Tricia Roesch. He passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2018. Michael was a kind, gentle, and curious young man.

Michael graduated from Grand Ledge High School in 2014, and he made many close friends playing the trumpet in the marching band. Upon graduation, Michael took classes at Lansing Community College before enlisting with the National Guard. Most recently, Michael worked in packaging for Achatz Pie Company in Chesterfield, Michigan. In his free time, Michael enjoyed roller blading, listening to podcasts, and running. Michael will be remembered for his beautiful smile, blue eyes, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met.

Michael was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grand Ledge on January 28, 2007 and is survived by his grandmothers, Virginia Balgoyen and Linda Tate; his adoptive mother, Joni Henretty; and many siblings: Joshua and Joseph Roesch (33), Melissa Stephenson (28), Ian Henretty (26), Janet Henretty (24), Martin Roesch (22), Johnathon Roesch (20), Jennifer Roesch (17), Jessica Roesch (16), Jayden Roesch (9), and Landyn Roesch (8). Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 517 S. Clinton St., Grand Ledge, with Pastor Chuck Forrester and Pastor Richard McKenzie officiating. Receiving of friends and family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., and a luncheon will immediately follow services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Grand Ledge Education Foundation, P.O. Box 121, Grand Ledge, MI 48837 in memory of Michael Roesch. The family has entrusted arrangements to Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. Online condolences may be shared at www.
