Obituary for Michael Schroeder Michael Schroeder, 72, of Ulysses, passed away January 3, 2019 in the comfort of his home. Michael was born January 8, 1946 to Reinhold and Freida(Reinbolth) Schroeder in Columbus, Nebraska. He was united in marriage to Diane Steiner on April 12, 1980.

Michael worked for the Loup Public Power District and he enjoyed farming. He is survived by his wife: Diane; children: Paul(Jennifer) Schroeder, of Garrison and Sarah Schroeder, of Washington D.C.; sisters: Barbara(Tom) Barlean, Diane(Donald) Clingaman, and Mary Kobza; and many nieces and nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law: Norman Kobza.
