Obituary for Michael Stephen Wright Michael Stephen Wright A much-loved brother, uncle, & friend, Mike Wright, 69, of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away on December 8, 2018. He was born May 20, 1949 in Scotia, California, and resided in Grants Pass, Oregon for the past 64 years. He graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1967.

Mike was veteran of the U.S. Army, earning the National Defense service medal while serving in Germany from 1970 – 1972. Mike worked for the BLM for the majority of his life, and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved camping, hunting, traveling, and lively conversation with friends.

He is survived by his sister, Sally Yarbrough of Selma, Oregon, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Hazen Wayne Wright, mother, Lillian Faye Wright & brother, Floyd Wright. Mike will be cremated and the family will hold a private get together.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Shriners Hospital.
