Michael’s Obituary Michael Wayne Powell, 41, passed away February 7, 2019 at Augusta Health. He loved to work on many different things, “a jack of all trades”, loved his pets “Bear and BayBay”. Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents; Archie and Dovie French, Thomas R. and Virginia Powell.

Surviving him are parents, Russell and Margie Powell of Verona; son, Kolby Powell (Samantha) of Crimora; daughter, Virginia Powell of Fishersville; brothers, Wayne Powell (Marie) and Thomas Powell of Staunton; sister, Teresa Wine (fiancé- Jon Gordon) of Crimora; grandson, Braxton Powell; grand-daughter, Adlee Powell; niece, Maxine Peregory (Woody); nephews, Isaiah Wine, Kaleb Wine, Elijah Gordon, Thomas D. W. Powell and a special uncle, Ernie Powell. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The funeral Service will be held at Mountain View Mennonite Church, February 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM with interment in the church cemetery.
