Obituary of Michael Sabel Michael J. Sabel September 24, 1958-February 4, 2019 Highland Falls, NY Michael J. Sabel passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. He was 60 years old. Son of Doris Sabel and the late William J. Sabel, he was born September 24, 1958 in West Point, NY.

Michael was an Electrician/Plumber with Sabel Plumbing of Fort Montgomery. Survivors include his mother Doris Sabel of Highland Falls, NY; his companion Joyce Adams; his sister Joan DeYoung and her husband Norman of Highland Falls; his sister-in-law Joni Sabel of Fort Montgomery; his niece Allyson, his nephews: Bill, Jared, Eric, Nicholas and Christopher; and his great nephews: Jacque Morgan, Jr. and William DeYoung. Michael was predeceased by his brother William and sister Shirley Sabel.

Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY. A Graveside Service will be held at 12noon on Friday, February 15, 2019 in Eagle Valley Cemetery, Town of Highlands, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.
