Michelle Morgucz Swindle September 21, 1979 – March 18, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Michelle Morgucz Swindle, age 39, of Westminster, Colorado, formerly of Summit, Illinois, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 from complications due to Loeys-Dietz Syndrome. Michelle is the beloved wife of Ryan Swindle of Westminster and the cherished mother of Bodhi Oliver Swindle age 9, also of Westminster. She is also survived by her mother, Olivia Morgucz, her step- father Rubin Martinez and mother in law Renee Swindle.

Dear sister of Allison Morgucz Mech, sister in law of John William Mech of Forst City, NC. Fond aunt of Andrew, Austin, Aleah, Alexander And Anthony. Also survived by countless cousins, aunts, uncles, her pet dogs Mika and Whiskey and pet rat Little Red.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father Paul Morgucz, Jr., paternal grandfather Paul Morgucz, Sr and maternal grandmother Logina Delgado. She attended Zion Lutheran School, Graves Elementary School, Argo Community High School (graduated as a National Honor Society Scholar 1997), Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana (graduated 2002) After being diagnosed in 2009 with Loeys-Dietz Syndrome, she became an advocate for herself, her son Bodhi, and all of the Loeys-Dietz Syndrome community. She was passionate for the welfare of all animals and the environment, especially primates.

Michelle worked as a volunteer at Summit Animal Hospital, a Pharmacy Technician at VCA Alameda East Animal Hospital, a primate keeper at both the Birmingham Zoo in Alabama and the Denver Zoo, and Rosie the tarantula handler at the Butterfly Pavilion of Westminster, Colorado. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Richard-Midway Funeral Home, 5749 Archer Ave. (Corner of Lorel), Chicago, Il.
