Miladie Faldik September 29, 1932 – May 16, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Miladie Faldik, age 86 of Seguin, passed away on May 16, 2019. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 23, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church beginning with the recitation of the rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed by the mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Msgr.

Dennis Darilek officiating. Interment will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery. A reception will follow in the family center at St. James.

Miladie was born in Hillje, Texas on September 29, 1932 to Erwin and Agnes (Krasucky) Kresta. Miladie was an active member of St. James Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Ann’s Circle. Other memberships included the Seguin Knights of Columbus 3412 Ladies Auxiliary, the American Legion H U Wood Post 245 Auxiliary in Seguin and the VFW Post 8456 Auxiliary in Geronimo.

She enjoyed dancing, playing dominoes, baking, cooking, sewing and gardening. But most of her cherished times were spent just being with family and friends. Miladie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Frankie Faldik, her parents and her brother, Bill Kresta.

She is survived by her son, Ron Faldik; daughter, Dr. Nancy Faldik; grandchildren Derek Faldik, and wife Kristine, Jenna Bernhard, and husband Ryan; great grandson, Rivers Bernhard; great-granddaughter, Reese Bernhard; sister, Marilyn Kubecka and husband John; sisters-in-law, Maxine Kresta Price, Ann Patek, Edith Siegel, Marie Petersen, and Bernadette “Bobbie” Wesch; brother-in-law, George Faldik and wife Carole, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members and friends. Pallbearers will be Ryan Bernhard, Jesse Lopez, Rene Sepulveda, John Cuellar, Jr., Marciano Gonzales, Joe Wright, Carl Jaks and Mike Absher. Honorary pallbearers will be Rivers Bernhard and Reese Bernhard.

Miladie will be missed and will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 510 S. Camp St., Seguin, TX 78155.
