Obituary for Mildred A. Brill Mildred (Milly) A. Brill of Rosemont Presbyterian Village, Bryn Mawr, PA, died on November 1, 2018 Milly is the fourth daughter of Ira D. And Lura M. Brill. She was born in Marlinton, WV on December 7, 1919 and graduated from Marlinton High School. She attended Fairmont State College, the University of Pennsylvania, and Pierce Business School.

She was employed by the University of Pennsylvania School of Education and the S. S. Huebner Foundation of the Wharton School from 1940 until her retirement in 1987. Milly was a deacon at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Older Adults Council, the Fine Arts Council, Senior Choir, and Congregational Care Council. She was a member of the Board of Managers of the Charles Knox Retirement Home in Wynnewood, PA for many years and also served on the Board of Meals on Wheels as well as acting as one of its delivery persons.

Milly was the last surviving member of her immediate family of four sisters and one brother. Her siblings were Margaret Reinert, Frances Eskridge, Catherine “Sue” Stettler, Lois McElwee, and James “Sam” Brill. She is survived by five nieces and four nephews and was predeceased by a niece and nephew.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, Bryn Mawr, PA in her name. A celebration of her life will be held in the coming weeks at Rosemont Presbyterian Village, with interment at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church.
