Mildred E. Miller, 89, of Schuylkill Haven, PA, passed away Monday, December 10th, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in Schuylkill Haven on September 16, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Roland & Minnie (Schafer) Galehoff. She was the widow of Robert S.Miller, who preceded her in death August 3, 2001.

Mildred was a graduate of Cressona High School, Class of 1947. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Friedensburg , and a former member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven. Mildred is survived by a sister, Edith Moyer, Schuylkill Haven, and nieces & nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Roland Galehoff in 2001. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Friedensburg at 10:30 a.m. on Friday with Pastor Peggy Sue Pfeffer officiating. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Interment will immediately follow the service at Union Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. At the family’s request, contributions in Mildred’s memory may be sent to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, P. O. Box 86, Friedensburg, PA 17933.
