Mildred’s Obituary Mildred June Carter, 84, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Wednesday March 13, 2019 at Community Hospice, Ashland, KY. She was born June 9, 1934 daughter of the late Henrietta Copney Murphy and Raymond Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Carter; and a son William “Chico” Carter, Jr

She was a member of Christ Temple Church of Ashland, KY. She is survived by her children Robert Carter of Ironton, Ohio, Dawn (Eugene) Campbell of South Point, Ohio, Darrell (Jan) Carter of Ironton, Ohio, and Darlene Carter of Ironton, Ohio; two brothers James Murphy and Edward Murphy; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday March 16, 2019 at Christ Temple Church Ashland, KY by Pastor J.D. Crockrell.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday March 16, 2019 at the church. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.
