Mildred Louise Thornton, 88, of Sherwood passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. She was born June 13, 1930 in Beebe, Arkansas to Marzie Lee and Lillian Mae Beaver. She was a member of Levy Church of Christ.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Norma Rios (Nicholas); sons, Chuck Thornton and Curtis Thornton (Kristi); grandchildren, Christina Rios-Campbell (Jeff), Anthony Rios, Johnathan Corey Thornton, Joshua William Thornton, Austin Tyler Thornton, Thomas Gage Thornton, Kendall Faith Thornton, Cassidy Brasen Thornton and Zachary Cheroff; great-grandchild, Melanie Rose Cheroff; and a brother, Lindy Warren Beaver. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Henry Thornton; daughter, Teresa Sue Cheroff; and brothers: Orton and Morrilton Lee Beaver. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM, Friday at Levy Church of Christ with interment in AR State Veterans Cemetery.
