Mildred Arlene “Millie” Athey, age 86, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was born on September 13, 1931 in Gilmer County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Howard Digman and the late Pearl Digman. She was retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Manufacturing after more than 30 years of service.

Millie was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia. She was an avid bird lover and has had many exotic birds over the years.
