Mildred “Milly”‘s Obituary Mildred “Milly” L. Splitstone, age 93 of Fremont, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Milly was born on April 29, 1926 in Hesperia to Henry and Cecilia (Kolander) Lafever and later married Harold “Bud” Splitstone on March 6, 1944 in Angola, Indiana. Bud preceded her in death on August 10, 2014.

Milly has been a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of the Fremont United Methodist Church. Milly is survived by her sons, Bob (Lynda) Splitstone; Michael Splitstone; Kim Clayton; Ted (Sue) Splitstone; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Services are pending at this time and will be announced soon.
