Mildred McNeil, 84, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 8, 2019 at Care One in Holmdel, New Jersey. She was born Mildred Smith on May 1, 1935 in Newark, New Jersey, where she grew up. In 1958, Mildred moved to Hazlet, New Jersey to raise her family, where she has remained.

Before retirement, Mildred worked as a Clerk/Secretary for Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Most importantly, Mildred was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Clara (Padula) Smith, her beloved husband, Edward McNeil, and her loving daughter, Sharon Turrell.

Mildred is survived by her adoring children, Edward McNeil and his wife Annette of Brick, New Jersey, Michael McNeil and his wife Pam of Toms River, Patrick McNeil of Port Monmouth, Carol McNeil-Sharpe and her husband Joe of Newark, Delaware, and Brian McNeil and his wife Maria of Hazlet, New Jersey, her 12 cherished grandchildren and 4 treasured great grandchildren. Mildred will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and Wednesday morning, May 15, 2019 from 9:45 to 10:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
