Obituary for Miriam E. Croft-Kent (Miller) Miriam Elizabeth Croft-Kent, 95 of Lodi, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 29th, 2018 at Burbank Parke Care Center in Burbank, Ohio where she had resided the past 2 years. She was born Tuesday, September 11th, 1923 in Everett, a daughter of the late William and Ada (Ritchey) Miller and was married to Hillis “Joe” Croft who passed away on May 21st, 1973. Surviving is survived by their daughter, Patricia Croft-Graham and husband Barry, Two sons, William “Bill” Croft and J.C. Croft and wife Mary, all of Lodi, 6 Grandchildren, Michael, Melissa and Robert Enright; and Greg, Joe and Magan Croft, 10 Great-Grandchildren 2 Great-Great-Granddaughters A sister, Mary Burkett of Everett, and many loving nieces, nephews and their families.

Mrs. Croft-Kent was baptized at and was a member of the Lodi First Congregational Church. After their marriage, she and her husband Joe settled in Lodi in 1957. She worked at the former Null’s Restaurant in Medina, and following her husbands’ sudden passing in 1973, she moved to Zephyr Hills, Florida, where she worked as a Cafeteria Manager for St. Leo’s College.

While living in Florida she met her second husband, Dwight Kent, and they were married for 10 years until his passing. Moving back to Lodi in 1997 to be close to her family, she was an avid Cleveland Indians fan who enjoyed embroidering and quilting, and loved the company of her family and grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, October 5th, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Pastor David Dake officiating.

Burial will be held at Ritchey Cemetery. For family and friends in Ohio, visitation will be held Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina Street, Lodi, Ohio 44254, Telephone 330-948-1122. Memorial contributions may be made in memory or Miriam to Lodi First Congregational Church, 114 Church Street, Lodi, Ohio 44254 or to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive, Suite E, Green, Ohio 44685.
