Obituary for Mitchell Brown Mitchell Brown age 55 a resident of Birchwood passed away Saturday December 15, 2018 at the family residence. He is preceded in death by his father Charles Ray Brown and was also preceded in death by his brothers Wayne and Jim Brown and his father in law Roy Baker. Mitchell was employed with Maytag as a welder and was a member of the Oasis Revival Center in Birchwood where he worked as a camera operator.

He was a wonderful loving husband, father and Pappy to his grandchildren. Mitchell loved his family and friends. He waould stare at his wife and drive her crazy.

He would always tell her how much he loved her. His hobbies were playing with his grandkids and being a “firebug” He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Sondra Brown, his mother Sarah Brown, his daughters Rachel Gravley and her husband Jimmy, Tara Roberts and her husband James, Leah Hindman and her husband Josh, Lauren “George” Lewis and her husband Jim, his grandchildren “Pappy’s Farm”, David, Jessica and Jack Gravley, Skylar, Pyper and Gunner Roberts, Mackenzie, Shane and Reighan Gravley, Jenson, Liz, and Delaney Lewis, his brothers Steve Brown, David and Trish Brown his sister Kathy Colbaugh, along with several nieces and nephews. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 3pm Wednesday at Oasis Revival Center in Birchwood with Rev.

Jimmy Gravley, Rev. Amanda Friddell and Pastor Mike Battles officiating. The interment will follow at McInturf Cemetery with Mike Baker, Lee Baker, Richard Collins, Cordell Leonard, Scot Montgomery, Justin Owens, James Roberts and Jim Simpson serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 until 8pm and Wednesday from 12 until 3pm at the church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mitchell’ memory to Oasis Building fund, 175 Shadden Road. , Birchwood TN.
