Morrison Franklin Fort, 63, of 269 Forte Road, Stedman died Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11am at First Baptist Church in Stedman with Rev. Perry Melvin officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Hilda Fort. Sons, Diontia Fort and Mario Fort both of Stedman.

Sister, Vivian Forte-Carter (Oscar) of Stedman. Brothers, Lewis Fort (Annie) of Clinton, Curtis Forte (Melba) and Roosevelt Forte all of Godwin and Harvey D. Fort (Marian) of Kenansville, along with seven grandchildren. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7pm Arrangements by Herring Funeral Care & Cremations.
