A homegoing celebration for Mr. Moses Kenneth Davis of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 will be held Saturday, September 29th, 2:00 p.m. at St. John Cathedral, 3401 E. 25th Street, Rev. Antonio Hawkins, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Moses Kenneth Davis affectionately known as “Kenny” or “KD” was born October 25, 1958 in Tampa, Florida to the late Daniel and Mattie Davis. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. Mr. Davis was a faithful dedicated employee of Aikens Funeral Home.

He was an active member at the Church of God Gospel Tabernacle, where he sang in the church choir. He loved to BBQ and was always willing to help anyone he could. His favorite quote was “Shut Ya Mouth!

” Although we will miss you, we know that God has you. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jimmy Lee, Henry, Rita, Nathaniel, Charlene and Victor Davis. He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories with his loving wife of 4 years, Theresa Rogers Davis; his precious children, Ebony Davis Bivens (Jeremiah) of Tampa, FL.

, Tameka Gant Clark (Christopher) of Orlando, FL. , Lakenya Perrymond Wilkins (Kendrick), Javon Melton, Chrishena Perrymond, Kimberly Perrymond all of Lakeland, FL. , and Tameka Rodgers (Curtis, Sr.) of Tampa, FL.

; grandchildren, Trinity Clark, Christopher Clark, Edgar Robinson, Jeffrey Bush, Ja’Yani Bivens, Kazaria Perrymond, Kenbriel Wilkins, Kendrick Wilkins, Jr., Lechadrick Reese, Janiyah Reese, Darriyel Bowman, Darryonna Bowman, Trayven Clay, Kendall Honors, Seven Perrymond, Michellae Williams, Dereck Mann, Curtis Rodgers, Jr., and Tamia Rogers; 4 sisters, Catherine Norton (Clarence), Sarah Hepburn, Lucille Davis and Veronica Davis all of Tampa, FL. ; 3 brothers, Gerald Davis (Bridgett), Anthony Davis and Jeffrey Davis all of Tampa, FL. ; special nephew, Shawn Davis (Meka); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends; his colleagues at Aikens Funeral Home; and many others who knew and loved him.

We love and miss you there’s nothing you can do about it. The visitation will be held at Church of God Gospel Tabernacle in 1035 N. Virginia Ave. , Lakeland, Florida on Friday, September 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
