Obituary for Mr Tony A. Brooks Mr. Tony A. Brooks, 55, departed this life on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Altavista, Va. Mr. Brooks was born in Newport News, Va on May 14, 1962 to the late Ms. Theresa Brooks. He attended Hampton Public Schools.

He was employed by Dalton Sawmill in Altavista, Va until his health starting failing. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ms. Theresa Cooper and his granddaughter, Azariah Hugley. Mr. Tony Brooks memories will forever be cherished by his daughter, Shanika Hugley-Rodgers; grandson, Ezra Rodgers; brother, Edwarr Cooper; stepfather, Mr. Charles Cooper; a long time companion, Faye Payne and children; best friend, Angelo; aunts, Shirley Hicks, Yvonne Garris, Almatine Jackson, Maria Ramadan, and uncle, Frank Muhammad and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
