OBITUARY Myra Joe Cardwell October 4, 1942 – January 14, 2019 Myra Joe Cardwell, age 76, of Montevallo, passed away on January 14, 2019. She was raised in Pea Ridge by her parents, James and Inez Kitchens. Myra was a member of Christian Mission Church in Pea Ridge.

She was Assistant Manager in the cafeteria of Montevallo Middle School. She loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren, cooking for loved ones, and going to church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Vicki Kitchens Rowe.

She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Raymond Cardwell; her sons, Jeffrey Cardwell (Linda) and Gregory Cardwell (Danita); six grandchildren, Jeffrey Cardwell, Jr. (Abbie), John Cardwell, Michael Smith (Rebecca), T. J. Smith (Ashley), Kimberly Nicholas (Cory) and Brittney Smith; eleven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Farrell Rowe; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with her funeral service to begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Montevallo City Cemetery.

Bro. Tommy Bass will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Mission Church.
