Jaster, 82, of Hurley, passed away on March 5. 2019, at the home of her best friend, Gene Jaster in Hurley. She was born on July 23, 1936 to Samuel and Tiami Korhonen Rappley in Ironwood.

Myrna worked in assembly for Chrysler for 15 years where she retired. She enjoyed nature and animals, and she even was visited from time to time by a fox who enjoyed chocolate covered donuts. She enjoyed beaches, sunbathing, going to Lake Superior, as well as going to the Casino.

Myrna loved her cat, Buddy. She was proud of her Indian heritage. Myrna was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Neil “Sonny” Rappley; and her sister, June Anderson.

Myrna is survived by her son, Val Kaul of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Sarina Kent of Hurley, WI; grandchildren, Jacob (AJ) Baker of Janesville, WI, Trenton Kent and girlfriend Amy of Springfield, MO; four great grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Butch) Knight and Sharon Anderson her best friend, Gene Jaster and brother, Jerry Korhonen and family from California. Myrna has been cremated according to her wishes and will be buried at Sunset Acres in Ironwood Township in the spring. McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, Ironwood, is assisting the family.
