Obituary for Myrtle Eck Myrtle Eck, 89, formerly of Eaton, OH, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 2, 2018. Born February 15, 1929 in Hamilton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Aster Ash, Sr. and Bessie Ash. Mrs. Eck worked as an administrative assistant for the Federal Land Bank from 1972-1985.

She was a member of the Eaton United Church of Christ and the Preble County Farm Bureau. She loved cooking, reading, gardening and her many grand dogs. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death on February 25, 2017 by beloved husband Mark Richard Eck; and by brothers Clarence Ash, Aster Ash, Jr., sisters Ellen Osner and Opal Lakes.

She is survived by sons Richard S. Eck and wife Teresa Ann of Springboro, OH and Mark Douglas Eck and wife Thea Marie of Irving, TX; granddaughter Victoria Marie Eck of TX; 4 great grandchildren: Isabella, Kaylee, Azaiah and Ciara. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 – 2:00 PM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens – 3377 US Rt. 35 – West Alexandria, OH.
