Myrtle Hughes Haynes, 89, of Florence, passed away December 6, 2018 at North Alabama Medical Center. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church for 65 years. A graveside service will be held today, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Park.

Officiating will be Rev. Chris Underwood. Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Thomas Haynes; son, Barry Haynes; granddaughter, Amy Rogers; three sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Haynes Rogers (Kenneth); grandchildren, Brian Rogers, Chris Rogers, Holly Mann, and Scott Haynes; and great-grandchildren, Abby Mann and Avery Mann.
