Cherril “Nadine” Smith, 77, of the Timberpoint Healthcare Center in Camp Point, (formerly of Quincy) died at 11:20 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the home. Born December 14, 1941, in Quincy, Nadine was a daughter of Sam and Helen Hendricks Leffringhouse. Nadine was a member of the Camp Point United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son William Wilson (Salina), Clayton; daughter, Shari Mangold (Lee), Quincy; two stepsons, David Kent Wilson (Sue), New Jersey Dan Wilson (Ladona), Golden, IL. ; and daughter-in-law Kathy Wilson (Florida) her grandchildren, Kayla Mangold; Shane Wilson (Rozalyn), and Cameron Wilson (both in the U.S. Army); step-grandchildren include Jason Wilson, Christine Trampe, Keith Wilson, and Jennie VanDeVelde; her sisters, Shirley Davis, Clayton, Marjorie Steighorst (Larry), and Barbara Cassidy (Walt), Auxvasse, MO. ; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; David M Wilson, her parents; two stepsons, Bruce Wilson, and John Wilson; a step-grandson, Wyatt Wilson; her brother, Bruce Leffringhouse; and a sister, Marcia Urton. Nadine was employed at Adams County Circuit Clerk for many years. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, loved horses, enjoyed going to lunch with her high school girlfriends, Bonnie, Diane, Edna, and Ruth.

Most of all she enjoyed being with her kids, grandkids and doing to their activities. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 15 at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home by Dan Wilson. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy.

Visitation will be held Thursday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point. Memorial contributions may be made to the Timber Point Healthcare Nursing Home Activities Department. Online condolences may be left at www.
