Obituary for Nancy Catherine Furry Graveside services for Nancy Furry, age 78, of Lake Brownwood, Texas will be held 10:30 AM Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Weedon Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. Nancy Catherine was born on September 6, 1940 in Frisco, Texas to William Clyde and Lena Mae Morrow Curry. She moved to Midland at a young age and graduated early from Midland High School.

While working and attending college at night, Nancy met the love of her life, Jim Furry. They were married on May 29, 1962. She retired from Chevron after 32 years of service and they moved to Lake Brownwood.

Nancy and Jim enjoyed many trips together in their RV and she will be greatly missed. Mrs. Furry passed away Thursday at her residence. Survivors include her husband Jim Furry of Lake Brownwood; her son Pete Furry of Lake Brownwood; two grandchildren Zach and Madison Furry; one great grandchild Ray; brother-in-law Jay Dale Furry and wife Donna and sisters-in-law Betty Holamon Curry and Karen Neatherlan.
