OBITUARY Nancy F. Johnson October 10, 1927 – October 28, 2018 Nancy Jean Foster Johnson, 91, of Des Moines, WA, passed away on October 28, 2018. She was born in Boston, MA on October 10, 1927. Nancy graduated from Cranston High School and attended Leland Powers School of Radio and Television.

She married Donald Earl Johnson on November 8, 1946. Nancy worked at homemaking, volunteerism and as an administrative secretary for the Highline Public Schools. She was a member of a series of American Baptist churches and was passionate about taking walks, hiking, sewing, weaving, embroidering and volunteering.

She is survived by Bruce (Debbie) Johnson, Cherry Johnson, Mark (Bobbi) Johnson-Tanner, Jessica (David) Hyvonen Huff, Julie (Mike) Pamperin, Justin (Michelle) Bowie, Dietrich Epp, Kendra (Ray) Gilbert, Olivia Johnson, Dianne Baxter, Miriam Johnson, Beverly Bowen; numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, God-children and friends. There will not be a service help per her request. A private, family ceremony for a commitment of her ashes will ultimately take place at Mariposa Gardens in Mesa, AZ.

Donations may be made in Nancy’s name to the Washington Trails Association.
