OBITUARY Walter Lee Robinson April 9, 1953 – October 19, 2018 Walter Lee Robinson, 65, passed peacefully on October 19, 2018 in Seattle, Washington. He was born on April 9, 1953 in Lawrence, Kansas to parents Walter Stitt Robinson and Constance Mock Robinson. He graduated from Lawrence High School where he was an honor student as well as a participant in track, tennis and marching band.

A graduate of the University of Kansas in 1975 with a BA in History and Geography, he completed a Masters in the School of Natural Res from the University of Michigan in 1977. While at KU, he was a member of AKL fraternity and a four year member of the KU marching Jayhawks Band. His entire career was spent in work for the United States Government, two years with the US Corps of Engineers and 38 years with FEMA in Seattle, Washington.

Mr. Robinson enjoyed travel, both in this country and overseas as a student and with FEMA. He was an Eagle Scout, and enthusiastic outdoors man, a lover of music and of the art he saw in the great museums of the world. He married Linda Anderson in 1984.

They were divorced at a later date. Survivors include a son, Trevor Lee Robinson of Rifle, Colorado; sister Barry Robinson (Robert) Cook of Leawood, Kansas; and numerous cousins in the Carolinas and Virginia.
