Obituary for Nancy Graf Nancy Graf nee McGraw, 80, longtime Glenview resident, passed away July 26, 2018. Wife of the late Bill Graf; mother of Bill (Sue), Jim (Becky), and Kris (Bill) Dean; Nana of Andy, Becky, Eric, Amanda, Brian, Ryan and Adam. Nancy grew up in Rogers Park, Illinois and summered in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

She met her husband, Bill, while in high school but didn’t reconnect until college. After being married, Nancy successfully raised 3 children before beginning her long-term career as a medical assistant, helping others. Nancy was always a voracious reader who enjoyed all literary styles, attended live theater performances often and indulged in a good plate of buffalo chicken wings as often as she could.

However, Nancy’s ultimate pride laid within her grandchildren. Her endless love for her “7 Grands” proved to be her biggest accomplishment of all. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 1pm until time of the service at 3 pm at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Road, Glenview. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 55 Wacker Dr., Chicago, IL 60601.
