OBITUARY Nancy Jane McCone February 26, 1937 – December 6, 2018 Nancy Jane (Laverty) McCone, 81, wife of William McCone of Sellersville passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. Born in Norristown she was the daughter of the late Elsie (Rubery) and Raymond Laverty. Nancy was a graduate of Norristown High School.

She was a teacher’s aide for the Norristown Area School District; was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Norristown. Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was the former youth group leader and Sunday school teacher at the church.

She loved the beach and fishing and was an avid reader. Nancy loved shopping! Surviving with her husband William are two daughters, Brenda, wife of Richard Pigeon of Phoenixville, PA and Sharon, wife of Thomas Brodowski of East Berlin, PA; a son William, Jr., husband of Jacquelyn McCone of Gilbertsville, PA.

; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren She was predeceased by three sisters, Edith Reese, Alice Mullen and Mildred Pigeon; a brother, Raymond Laverty. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA Relatives and friends will be received from 1 – 2 p.m. Monday in the Mausoleum. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Association of Cancer Research, 1560 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 1000, Arlington, VA. The Linwood W.
