Mrs. Hardin was the wife of James Hardin and daughter of the late Tracy W. and Bessie B. Sampson of Pembroke, Naomi was a Home Interiors Consultant for over 30 years and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son Anthony “Tony” Sheriff, granddaughter Charlotte McLellan, brothers John, Winfield, Melvin, and Elery Sampson. She is survived by brothers Aubrey and Anslem Sampson of Pembroke, sisters Ilene Richards of Florence, SC and Dianne S. Harke of Wilmington, granddaughters Shannon Ray of Charlotte and Toni Sheriff of Greenville, along with a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones.
