Obituary Service Details Naomi R. Krypciak, nee Berry, age 84, of Fairmont City, IL, born on August 3, 1934 in Xenia, IL, died on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Naomi worked in the accounting department for Sears Roebuck & Co and Newhoff Wholesale Jewelry. She was an avid Cardinals baseball fan with Lou Brock being her favorite player.

She enjoyed old time country music, TV westerns and visiting the family farm in Xenia, IL. Naomi was a very good cook, but baking was her passion. She was a loving, caring and wonderful mother.

Naomi was always involved with her boys’ school activities, being a Cub Scout Leader and busy with the PTA. Naomi was a member of the Fairmont City Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Krypciak; her parents, Robert E. and Ferne C., nee Copelin, Berry; and her brother, Robert Berry.

Naomi is survived by her sons, Joseph E. “Joe” Krypciak of Fairmont City, IL and Michael R. “Mike” Krypciak of Fairmont City, IL; and her siblings, Karen Kellerman of Red Bud, IL and Joan Brainerd of Vista, CA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday January 14, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL. There’s still time to send flowers to the Visitation at the Kassly Mortuary from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on January 13, 2019.
