Nathan “Nate” Preston, 39 of Barberton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Nathan was born on July 31, 1979 in Barberton, Ohio to parents Mitch and Phyllis (Ford) Preston. He was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1999.

A man with a very caring and giving heart; Nathan always put everyone before himself and was ready to help anyone in need. When Nathan wasn’t giving his heart to family and friends it belonged to the outdoors. His passions including hunting and fishing, hobbies that he especially loved sharing with his children.

Nathan married his high school sweetheart, Julie (Johnson) Preston, on September 18, 1999 and together they had two incredibly loved children, Aaron and Isabelle Preston. Nathan worked hard to provide the best for his family. He spent seventeen years working as an electrician, progressing to the status of Journeyman.

He ended his career as a Foreman Electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union at Speelman Electric. He is survived by wife, Julie; son, Aaron; daughter, Isabelle; mother and her husband, Phyllis and Lonnie Stacy; brother, Seth Preston; sister, Angie Preston; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan and Leslie Johnson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kyle and Rachel Johnson; nephews, LJ and Clayton; nieces, Abigail and Trinity; and many other relatives and friends. Nathan’s family will receive friends on Saturday, November 9th at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave.

, Barberton 44203, from 2 to 5 p.m. with a brief memorial service at 5 p.m. with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating, with an opportunity for loved ones to share memories. In llieu of flowers donations may be made to Sportsmen of Tomorrow, Inc., 2867 Oakcrest Drive, Norton, Ohio 44203.
