Obituary for Nathon Simmons Funeral services for Nathon Simmons, age 55, of Lindale, Texas are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale with Paul Simmons and Bud Allred officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home. Nathon died Monday, February 5, 2018 at his residence in Lindale.

He was born in Tyler, Texas on May 1, 1962 to the late, James C. and Gwendolyn Rose (Bacle) Simmons and was a lifelong resident of Lindale. Nathon owned and operated Simmons Services, LLC and was a member of the Lake Fork Baptist Church, Lindale Chamber and USBC. He was preceded in death by his father, James C. Simmons on May 11, 2016 and brother, David Simmons on November 2011.

Nathon is survived by his wife, Gail Simmons of Lindale, Texas; mother, Gwendolyn Simmons of Lindale, Texas; sons & daughters-in-law, Clay & Kelsey Simmons of Austin, Texas, Kyle & Haley Simmons of Lindale, Texas, and Patrick & Makayla Callahan of Mineola, Texas; brother, Paul Simmons of Lindale, Texas; sisters & brothers-in-law, Nancy & Michael Porche of Tyler, Texas and Kathyleen Simmons and her partner Amy Petaros of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Owen Simmons of Lindale, Texas, Olivia Simmons of Lindale, Texas and Tommy Callahan of Mineola, Texas; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be John Roach, Wesley Roach, Ansley Simmons, Chris Beauchemin, Corbin Green, and Alex Callahan. Memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas 4111 University Blvd.
