Needham Lee Newell, Jr. Needham Lee Newell, Jr., age 80, of Humboldt, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday, May 31, 2018 with a visitation 11-1pm before the service. The burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, TN. Needham was born January 15, 1938 in Humboldt, TN and departed this life May 28, 2018 in Jackson, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Needham Lee Newell, Sr. & Eutoka Newell; sister, Lilly Maw Moss; and brother, Lonnie Glenn Newell. Mr. Newell loved to garden. It was one of his favorite hobbies.

You could also find him tinkering with lawn mowers a lot of the time. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Humboldt, TN. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Newell; daughters, Debbie Holley & Karen (George) Parrish; son, Timothy Newell; grandchildren, Jennifer Ivy, Justin Parrish, & Chelsea Wilbert; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Ivy, Haylee Ivy, & Kylee Wilbert; sisters, Barbara Ann Schiemen, Linda Kay Chandler, & Brenda Faye Franks; and brother, Ronnie Lynn Newell.
