OBITUARY Nellie Greve Schwartz December 21, 1932 – November 25, 2018 Nellie Greve Schwartz, age 85, of Cypress, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018. She was born on December 21, 1932 in Neches, Texas to Will and Elsie Greve. Nellie moved to Houston in 1951 and went on to marry Lorenz Schwartz on November 7, 1952.

She was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church and loved to crochet. She enjoyed her weekly Bible studies and was working with a group of ladies crocheting blankets for the homeless recycling plastic shopping bags. Nellie is preceded in death by her parents Will and Elsie Greve, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

She is also preceded by her beloved husband of 65 years, Lorenz Schwartz. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Elsie Turner and husband James; sons Lorenz W. (Billy) Schwartz and wife Tina, and Howard Schwartz; granddaughter Michelle Wood and husband John; grandson Travis Bowles; and great-granddaughters Mackenzie Wood and Caroline Wood. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 6-8pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:30 pm at the Texas Liberty Chapel followed by Committal Service at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. A reception will be held immediately following the burial at Fairfield Baptist Church, 27240 Highway 290, Cypress, TX 77433.
