Nellie Yvonne Mann was born on April 23, 1940 to Lillian G. Saxton and Edward Clark (Jesse P. Saxton) in Plattsburg, Missouri. Nellie made her life transition on September 11, 2018. She was preceded in death by her mother Lillian G. Saxton, father’s Edward Clark and Jesse P. Saxton; brother, LeRoy May, Edward O. Clark; sister Carolyn Diggs and one grandson, Aaron Cook.

Nellie attended R.T. Coles of the city and received her high school equivalency in 1974. Nellie was employed with the Kansas City School District for 20 years. Nellie leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Cynthia P. Turner, Carla Y. Mann (Lang) and Dana M. Milligan (Dimitri).

One lifetime friend James Sherman (Marion) 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 22nd at Lawrence A. Jones and Sons Chapel. Visitation 9:00 A.M. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
