Nicholas J. Staffano Jr. passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. He was 91. Mr. Staffano of Jeffersonville owned and operated the former Staffano Furniture store in Norristown.

He was a member of Visitation BVM Church. Nick was a life member of the Jeffersonville Fire Company where he served as Assistant Fire Chief and President for 25 years. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and attended many of their football games over the years.

He coached Triple S flag football. Nick was born in Norristown on January 30, 1928 and was the son of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth (Lynch) Staffano Sr He was the beloved husband of Phyllis (Castellano) Staffano.

He is survived by his daughter Margie (John) Bergstrasser. One sister Elizabeth (Tom) McGrath. Two grandchildren John and Amy and five great-grandchildren Trey, Christopher, Jo-Jo, Jaclyn and Isaac.

As well as his Godson Thomas McGrath. He was predeceased by his daughter Christine Gassen and a brother Charles. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Friday, February 8 at 11 AM in Visitation church, Trooper.

Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10 to 11AM. Family request in Lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Jeffersonville Fire Company in his memory.
