SOUTHWICK/EAST GRANBY, CT-On Saturday, October 20, a radiant soul, Nina Kristine Adasiewicz, 21, unexpectedly left this world. It is a sadder, less colorful place without her. Those who met Nina will never forget her.
She brought light into their lives and joy beyond belief. Nina was born August 2, 1997, in Springfield, MA to David and Cheryl (Bruno) Adasiewicz. She enjoyed nature walks with her friends and dog Syrus, who she adored.
Music, festivals, hula-hooping, sunflowers, and spending quality time with her family and friends were her whole life. Unique is a perfect way to describe Nina, as is hard working. She was so proud of her accomplishment as a dental assistant.
She was a graduate of Porter and Chester Institute in Enfield and enjoyed working for Dr. Hope, DMD. On her days off from the dental office, she worked at Mrs. Murphy’s Donuts, and previously was employed at Subway in Southwick. Nina was a 2015 graduate of Southwick-Tolland Regional High School.
Nina was pre-deceased by her father, David T. Adasiewicz, in 2006. She leaves, to cherish her memory, her mother Cheryl Bruno Adasiewicz, her grandparents James and Cheryl Bruno and Agnes and William Bancroft. She leaves her uncles, James D. Bruno, Paul and Steven Adasiewicz, Peter Baxer and Philip McClain.
Her aunts Lisa Bruno Baxer, Melissa Bruno McClain (Auntie Mommy), MaryGail Cullinane and Catherine York. Her cousins Jordan Attanasio, Dominic Attanasio, Alex Winchell, Monique Adasiewicz and Clinton York. Nina also leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her beloved “big spoon”, Peter Dowers Jr., along with special friend Donathan Johnson and countless others who will never forget the happiness she brought into their lives.
In honor of Nina you are requested to wear your favorite tie-dye shirt or other clothing accessories. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, from 5:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. at Marian Hall of Our Lady of the Lake Church, 224 Sheep Pasture Road, Southwick, MA 01077.
