Garcia, age 82, passed on to eternal rest Wednesday December 26, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 17, 1936 in Linares, N.L., Mexico to Alejos Garcia and Maria Tienda and was a lifetime resident of Harlingen. He was a hard working man and provider for his family.

He worked many years as a roofer throughout the Rio Grande Valley. He leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memory his children, Roy Garcia (Irma), Robert Garcia, Gloria Garcia, Reyes Garcia, Josie Diaz (Mike), Irma Stella Garcia, Noe Garcia Jr. (Esperanza), and Ninfa Medina, ten grandchildren, Julian, Amber and Benjamin Garcia, Sharon, Melissa, Joey and Henry Diaz, Rolando, Laura and Fatima Garcia, nine great grandchildren, six sisters, Dora Garcia, Micky Palomino, Florinda Cano, Hermila Arredondo, Lidia Garcia and Lupe Cano. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Noe is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita S. Garcia, two daughters, Florinda and Theresa Garcia, a brother, Ricardo Garcia and three sisters, Velia Cedillo, Olga Medina and Delia Garcia. Visitation was held Thursday from 1 pm to 9 pm with a prayer of the holy rosary led by Olga Gonzalez at 7 pm Thursday evening. Holy Mass of funeral liturgy is scheduled for today Friday December 28, 2018 at 10 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Commital Services and burial will follow to Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, La Feria. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Noe Garcia Jr., Roy Garcia, Rolando Garcia, Joey Diaz, Henry Diaz and Reyes Garcia. Arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home, 1002 East Harrison Ave.
